What is Collisions—and how is it different from a unified inbox?
Collisions is a people-first messenger with a private agent. A unified inbox puts many threads in one list; Collisions connects those threads to the person behind them. Jenny on Telegram, WhatsApp, and Instagram becomes one Jenny without erasing where each message came from or where a reply will go. The agent adds a relationship layer that can recover what happened, help you understand it, and prepare what comes next.
What can the agent read, and how does it find the right context?
When you connect a messaging source, the agent can read and index the conversations that source makes available to Collisions. It does not send that entire archive into every question. Retrieval starts with the person you opened, searches their linked conversations and your private notes, and ranks useful passages such as earlier decisions, commitments, unresolved questions, names, dates, or changes in tone. Only that focused context is used to form the answer.
Does each person’s context stay private?
Yes. When you ask from Jenny’s space, retrieval stays inside the conversations, notes, and memories linked to Jenny unless you deliberately bring in something else. Your agent conversation, rehearsals, notes, and drafts are private to you—not visible to Jenny and not copied into the original chat. Each answer can show a context receipt with the source messages, services, and dates that shaped it, so you can verify what the agent used.
How are identity, storage, and AI providers handled?
Collisions links accounts using provider records and verified contact signals, never a matching display name alone; links keep their source and can be separated if they are wrong. Original conversations remain authoritative in the services where they happened, while person links, notes, permissions, source references, and agent sessions stay local whenever possible. If a remote model is used, the relevant retrieved context must be sent to that provider, so its retention and training terms matter and should remain visible. Disconnecting stops new synchronization, and previously indexed Collisions context can be removed separately.
Can the agent send messages or act for me?
The agent can explain, recommend, draft, and prepare an action. Before anything leaves Collisions, you review the exact recipient, source service, and content. Nothing in your private workspace becomes an external message by accident. The goal is to help you communicate with more context and care—not to impersonate you or maintain relationships in the background.
